The 12 Dogs of Christmas.  Watch it, it is really good!!  My Mom, sister, and I watch it every Christmas, as a Christmas tradition!

Roses, bluebonnets, daisies, and tulips!

3. What is your favorite (non-alcoholic) drink?
Water, lemonade, root beer, and sprite!

4. What is your passion?
Living for God.

5. What is your favorite time of the year?
Stealing Britt's answer: Christmas time, around the holidays and in the summertime.

At night, when I'm in bed! :)

Horseback riding!

NaNoWriMo!

Hey guys!

I know I already did a post today, but I wanted to post about NaNoWriMo. :)

This is my second year doing it, and I'm so excited!  The problem is, I don't exactly have my story idea yet. And it's in three days! I know, I know, I'm cutting it close, but I'm going to think about story ideas today. :)

Missed Opportunities

Hey guys!  How was your weekend?

Today I have something on my mind that I would like to post about.

On Saturday, my family and I were all going to go to a housewarming/costume party at one of our family friend's house. Well, I didn't really want to go, as I haven't really seen the family in a few years, and it's mostly just my parents that talk to their parents. My Mom ended up staying home with me while the others went on ahead. Then we just decided to get into costume and drive by and see if we wanted to go. Well we did, but we just decided to go get Starbucks instead, even though I knew in my heart that God was really telling me to go.

Anyway, when the others came home later, my Dad told us that my friend, Madeline, from school, had been there! Turns out that our family friends had moved next door to them!  When I heard that, I immediately felt bad for not going. To tell you the truth, I don't have very many "in person" friends, as I am a very shy person. It's so much easier for me to make online friends, which are awesome by the way. ;) One reason is that I don't like big groups. So, that would have been a perfect opportunity to talk to Madeline, just her and me. And God knew that she was going to be there, and he was telling me to go, and I didn't listen.

I miss so many wonderful opportunities because they are not in my comfort zone.  Sometimes, I just need to put myself out there, and see what happens.  And most likely, it will turn out great. :)

My Day!

Hey guys!

How was your Thursday?

Mine was unbearably long, I had two tests, one in American Literature and the other in American History. My Literature teacher also subbed for my History teacher because my History teacher was spending time with her son, who is home from the war. Let's just say that the class was very... interesting, with a Literature teacher reading a History teacher's notes. I was laughing inside when she said "Okay, now the first bullet point is..." Or "This is in outline form, so I'll just read it in that form." :D

And the lights went out for like 2 hours! That was awesome!! :D Study hall is always fun and the kids always laugh and crack up! :D

Oh I have a question for you guys! I write essays for English, and I was wondering if you guys would be interested in seeing them? They're definitely not the best though. :) Just let me know!

A Heartfelt Post

Hey guys!

First of all, our plays went really well! I messed up on one of my lines, but oh well. :) I'm really happy of how well the whole cast did!

I wanted to post about something today. Something that has sort of been bothering me lately. In the recent months quite a few bloggers have quit blogging. And they have been some of my favorite bloggers too.

I know that they have all quit for a reason, and that God led them to do that, but... it still makes me very sad when I see each new post that says they are quitting. I've been feeling really frustrated lately because of this.

I know I can't force them to stay. I know that. I just wish they wouldn't go. The blogging world feels one less person emptier when they leave. It's not the same. And it never will be exactly the same again.

I'm sorry I posted about this, I just really needed to get it off my chest. Thanks for reading. I love all of you guys!

Oh no...

Once again, I've been gone for a while. Sorry guys. :P

On Wednesday I took the PSAT test!  Did anyone take that?  I was the only one in my English class that did!

Today my siblings and I have our play at 7 pm and another one tomorrow at 12 pm! I'm super nervous, could you maybe pray that it would go well? I would really love that. :)

Well guys, I know this is a super short post, but it's not really in my personality to do super long rambly posts... unless I really feel like it. :)

Life Lately...

Hey guys!

I know, I haven't posted in over a week, life has been pretty hectic. With school and everything, I haven't had much time to just... breathe.

Plus I have a rough draft due for my Creationism vs. Evolutionism paper for my science homeschooling class that is due by Monday, and that is making me feel really stressed.

But I am going to what's called the Horse and Soul tour by paralleli this weekend, and I'm pretty excited about that! I wish you all could come too! I'll try and take pictures! :)
