Lately, I have felt just like I am going in circles.
Things have been happening lately that make me really upset... last night I just broke down and cried. I am so not ready for next week of finals, all I want to do is rest, rest and know that I have no responsibilities.
I know this is a short post, but I'm really tired, and am going to go to bed soon. One more thing: Please pray for my friend, she ran away and I don't know if she is okay or not. Please keep her in your prayers.
Well actually, I got back from my grandparents house Sunday night, but I've had two projects due this week, and this is the first time I've had where I can write a blog post! :)

I know I already did a post today, but I wanted to post about NaNoWriMo. :)
This is my second year doing it, and I'm so excited! The problem is, I don't exactly have my story idea yet. And it's in three days! I know, I know, I'm cutting it close, but I'm going to think about story ideas today. :)
Anyway, does anyone want to be my writing buddy? Click here for my profile. :)
Today I have something on my mind that I would like to post about.
On Saturday, my family and I were all going to go to a housewarming/costume party at one of our family friend's house. Well, I didn't really want to go, as I haven't really seen the family in a few years, and it's mostly just my parents that talk to their parents. My Mom ended up staying home with me while the others went on ahead. Then we just decided to get into costume and drive by and see if we wanted to go. Well we did, but we just decided to go get Starbucks instead, even though I knew in my heart that God was really telling me to go.
Anyway, when the others came home later, my Dad told us that my friend, Madeline, from school, had been there! Turns out that our family friends had moved next door to them! When I heard that, I immediately felt bad for not going. To tell you the truth, I don't have very many "in person" friends, as I am a very shy person. It's so much easier for me to make online friends, which are awesome by the way. ;) One reason is that I don't like big groups. So, that would have been a perfect opportunity to talk to Madeline, just her and me. And God knew that she was going to be there, and he was telling me to go, and I didn't listen.
I miss so many wonderful opportunities because they are not in my comfort zone. Sometimes, I just need to put myself out there, and see what happens. And most likely, it will turn out great. :)
Mine was unbearably long, I had two tests, one in American Literature and the other in American History. My Literature teacher also subbed for my History teacher because my History teacher was spending time with her son, who is home from the war. Let's just say that the class was very... interesting, with a Literature teacher reading a History teacher's notes. I was laughing inside when she said "Okay, now the first bullet point is..." Or "This is in outline form, so I'll just read it in that form." :D
And the lights went out for like 2 hours! That was awesome!! :D Study hall is always fun and the kids always laugh and crack up! :D
Oh I have a question for you guys! I write essays for English, and I was wondering if you guys would be interested in seeing them? They're definitely not the best though. :) Just let me know!
Oh if anyone would like to email me, my email is under the Contact Me page tab! I would love to get to know you! I already have some awesome email pals! Yes, you guys know who you are. ;)
First of all, our plays went really well! I messed up on one of my lines, but oh well. :) I'm really happy of how well the whole cast did!
I wanted to post about something today. Something that has sort of been bothering me lately. In the recent months quite a few bloggers have quit blogging. And they have been some of my favorite bloggers too.
I know that they have all quit for a reason, and that God led them to do that, but... it still makes me very sad when I see each new post that says they are quitting. I've been feeling really frustrated lately because of this.
I know I can't force them to stay. I know that. I just wish they wouldn't go. The blogging world feels one less person emptier when they leave. It's not the same. And it never will be exactly the same again.
I'm sorry I posted about this, I just really needed to get it off my chest. Thanks for reading. I love all of you guys!
I went to my friend MaryCatherine's house for the first time!! We met on blogger and found out that we live only about 30 minutes away from each other! So she invited me and some of her other friends over yesterday! We played a board game, Truth or Dare, and went to see Finding Nemo in 3D at the theaters! I had a blast!! I hope to see her again really soon!!
I am doing well. Except I'm sad that this will be the last week that I take horseback riding lessons with my horse I ride, Ashton, since my instructor is moving. ;( Love ya Ashton, even though you can be really stubborn. :(
Well I have a free day today since I finished my homework over the weekend! What should I do? Hmm... I'll probably read and maybe go to the park and write. :)
Sorry I haven't posted in a little while, I have been absolutely flooded with homework! But it's almost the weekend now, so I'm glad about that. :)
Nothing is really new with me... I had acting class yesterday, which I absolutely love, and there is a funny story about that actually!
Well on the first day of acting, all of a sudden I turn around and see this guy that looks really familiar to me. And then when our director was asking everyone's names, he said "My name is Jeff." And then I was like "Oh my gosh! He's from my history class!" So the next day at school for me, my brother and I were in study hall, and then Jeff walks in. And I am super shy, so my brother spoke up and said "Hey, you recognize us? From acting?" He said "Oh yeah!" It is really cool that he's in my acting and my class at school!
Hi guys! How are you today? I am sick but getting better!
Well, today I had English and History class. It was a long day, but when I got home I was very happy to receive an email saying what parts I had gotten in my play I had auditioned for the day before! :)
Then, I talked so excited to talk to my pen pal and amazing friend, KayleeBeth, on the phone for the first time!! KayleeBeth is so amazing, kind, sweet, fun, and she made me laugh so much!! We ended up talking for 2 hours... wow! Definitely a record for me! :) But I had so much fun the entire time!
Anyway, I hope I can talk to her again very very very soon!! :)
I started school today, I have science, Spanish, English, and history that I am taking. Oh and math. Spanish is kind of overwhelming for me. :P But otherwise I love all my classes... I think! Lol! Kind of hard to explain, but I only have Science and Spanish class on Tuesdays, kind of like a co-op.
Hi!! So sorry I haven't posted in a while, I have been busy watching the Olympics! So the posts probably won't come as often while the Olympics are going on. :)
I will post soon!
"What do you fear, lady?" he asked. "A cage," she said. "To stay behind bars, until use and old age accept them, and all chance of doing great deeds is gone beyond recall or desire."
-Aragorn and Eowyn, Lord of the Rings.
Yesterday our friends, Hannah, Emily, and Reid came over! We had so much fun and laughed a lot! We played games and watched a movie! I think we might see them again in August and have a sleepover! I hope so!
Here are some pictures my Mom and Dad took of us.
From left to right: Reid, my brother, Ethan, my sister, Emma, Emily, Hannah, and me!
Me and Hannah!
Hope you liked the pictures! What have you been doing lately?
Yesterday I was very excited to be able to talk to my best friend, Lila, on the phone. I love that girl so much, I don't know what I would do without her. I can tell her anything and she always listens to me.
We actually met her family through blogging and we were able to meet up with them in New York City this past September and had dinner with them! I really want to see them again, I am hoping they will be able to come to Texas later this year. :)
We email every day! I always love emailing her. :)
Book 1: Tomorrow Girls #1: Behind the Gates In a terrifying new world, four girls must depend on one another if they want to survive.
Summary: Disaster and destruction are all thirteen-year-old Louisa has ever known. But now she and her best friend, Maddie, are among the lucky few being sent to boarding school, far from home. Finally, a taste of freedom! Country Manor School isn't perfect: The girl's roommates are tough to get along with, and the school is hard work. Still, Louisa loves CMS - the survival skills classes, the fresh air. She doesn't miss not having TV, or the Internet, or any contact with home. It's for their own safety, after all. Or is it?
Book 2: Riding Freedom by Pam Munoz Ryan She had the courage to follow her dreams...
Charlotte Parkhurst was raised in an orphanage for boys, which suited her just fine. She didn't like playing with dolls, she could hold her own fight, and loved to work in the stable. Charlotte had a special way with horses and wanted to spend her life training and riding them on a ranch of her own. The problem was, as a girl in the mid-1800s, Charlotte was expected to live a much different life - one without the freedoms she dreamed of. But Charlotte was smart and determined, and she figured out a way to live the life she wanted. Charlotte became an expert horses rider, a legendary stagecoach driver, and the first woman ever to vote. And she did these things at a time when they were outlawed for women. How? With a plan so clever and secret - almost no one figured it out.
Book 3: Wolves of the Beyond #1: Lone Wolf by Kathryn Lasky The owl war is over. The wolf pack awaits.
In the harsh wilderness beyond the owl world of Ga'Hoole, a wolf mother hides in fear. Her newborn pup, otherwise healthy, has a twisted paw. The mother knows the rigid rules of her kind. The pack cannot have weakness. Her pup must be abandoned on an icy riverbank - condemned to die. But alone in the forest, the pup, Faolan, does the unthinkable. He survives. This is Faolan's story, the story of a courageous wolf pup who rises up to change forever the wolves of the Beyond.
1. Thank the person who nominated you and give the link. Thank you so much for the award Emma! Love ya!
2. Tell us how the idea of making a blog popped up and why you continue it. My English teacher in 6th grade had a blog, and she showed us it. I thought it was awesome so I decided to make one. My Dad helped me. :)
3. Describe a usual day of your life. Wake up at around 8 am. I check my email and look at blogs. Then in the school year I usually do some homework. Or, if it is Tuesday or Thursday, go to school. :) And on Fridays I have horseback riding. Throughout the day I'm usually reading or writing.
